Last month we had a young lady apply to rent one of the homes we manage. There were some ‘red flags’ that came up as we were processing her application. The copies of her time cards looked completely legitimate but the amount of her earnings seemed unusually high. I contacted the company’s main location back in the Midwest and they confirmed that she worked for them but that there appeared to be some ‘inaccuracies’ on her time cards. Her landlord reference was a relative by marriage and….was actually not the owner of the property according to that county’s records.
